Before shooting at a new venue I always make sure to scope out the place prior to the big day. I drove up the windy hills to Holmfirth Vineyard on a warm and sunny Wednesday afternoon and from the moment I arrived I simply could not wait to be back. Emily & Chris had chosen the most incredible venue, a vibe reminiscent of France or Italy, it definitely felt special and unique.
On the morning of the wedding I met with Emily to join in the early giggles and anticipation, with a little detour to meet Chris enjoying a pre-ceremony pint with the boys. The setting was picturesque throughout the day, including the church service at All Saints Church Netherthong which was charming.
Celebrations continued back to the Vineyard where guests congregated outside to embrace the subtle July breeze and enjoy the amazing view. Speeches proceeded and the room was full of laughter and heart, then after dinner a special comedic appearance arrived to entertain the guests and maintain the wonderful energy of the this wedding.
I enjoyed every moment of my time spent with Emily, Chris and their families and friends. From the never ending inuendo laughs during our portrait shoot to the belting tunes of the evening band (I couldn’t help but dance away!), thank you so much for having me!
