Festival Tipi Wedding on a farm in Rainford

What do you get when you cross a tipi with a bunch of scousers dollied up for a celebration? A bloody FESTIVAL WEDDING thats what!! Adam & Anthony dreamt of a day that was entirely relaxed yet absolutely BUZZING at the same time, an environment were their family and friends could completely let their hair down and party however the heck they wanted to.

Upon approach to the reception you are greeted with a serene, quietness overlooking a country landscape..strolling through the farm past the barns and roaming chickens you turn a corner and find a massive tipi;  guests enjoy each others company and perch on hay bales whilst they have a smoke and a natter, the growing hum of a party streams through the tipi entrance and draws you inside to experience the atmosphere of this fantastic celebration. Inside there are benches piled with what seems like endless alcoholic beverages and boho style decoration, looking around you find twinkling fairy lights, a cake resembling wooden logs, blush love letters, a roaring open fire with marshmallows, a crowd of people flooding the dance floor belting out songs in time with the live singer and guitarist…and of course beer pong.

Let us not forget the morning and ceremony however, Adam & Anthony were joined by their absolutely beautiful best ladies and as a photographer it was one of my most enjoyable preps! No nerves, simply anticipations with a dash of impatience to celebrate their newly married life. The ceremony at a local favourite Knowsley registry office was short but honestly wonderful with the first standing ovation I have ever witnessed…it really brought a tear to my eye.

This wedding was extra special to me as well as there was a lot of friendly faces around that I have been in company with growing up in my hometown of Kirkby, there I met Adam at school and who would have thought that he would be my first school friend to marry but also ask me to be there to capture it all.

I must also give special thanks to my fantastic second shooter Rachel Victoria Photography who without her help I would have missed moments as there was so so many going on at this fantastic wedding! Thank you so much guys it truly was a special day, here is your preview with many more to come!
