FAQ’s

You may be surprised how common that burning question of yours is. Here are a few things I get asked a lot:

I get it, being photographed doesn’t come naturally to most people I work with. Having a good chemistry with your photographer is key here so I always encourage meetings ahead of the day so we have opportunity to get to know each other better. Building trust so that you feel you’re in safe hands with me!

Yes, I encourage it. Before booking this is vital if I’m going to be spending the whole day with you. Organisation is so important on a wedding day too so trust and believe I will be chatting with you on the weeks leading up to it. I like to feel fully prepared and want you to feel safe knowing everything is being taken care of so you can relax and enjoy your day.

Sometimes I will also arrange to visit your venue, especially if I’ve not shot there previously.

This topic has a bad reputation and so many people wish they could skip it altogether. That’s fine if this is you, but most people still want these traditional shots with loved ones…just not at a timely and stressful cost. We will work together before the day to plan formal shots into your timeline in a way that is smooth, as easy as possible and doesn’t leave you parched and exhausted.

Please don’t let this be a big ruling factor to your day. The Great British weather is out of your control so trust the universe has a plan and whatever happens, your wedding will be so special and unforgettable. In terms of your photographs we will have a plan for indoor options as well as a keen eye on the clouds throughout the day itself, embracing the chase of dry spells or even dancing in the rain because why the hell not!
