Photographs are one of the few things that we treasure more and more as the years pass by.

“I really regret having those family photos taken”…said nobody ever. Wandering outside your comfort zone and going in front of a camera can feel unnerving, I get it. But I’m here to show you that it doesn’t have to be so scary and in fact, you may even have fun! And what better investment is there than having photos of your loved ones to cherish forever?

My family shoots are very laidback with gentle direction. My aim is to create a safe space to be able to capture you together just as you are, goofy faces and all. I want the experience to feel easy and most importantly, enjoyable for the whole family.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

For those who have never had a family shoot before, I’m sure you have lots of questions. Here’s a few I get asked all the time:

Somewhere mutual to both us, preferably outdoors where we can explore and have lots of space to work with. This is all open to discussion though, and we can bounce ideas when we’re arranging your shoot.

Most people are, it’s normal don’t worry, even I get a little nervous if a camera is pointed at me. You’re in safe hands though, I’m not here to make you do anything you are uncomfortable with. I’m very easygoing and will guide you along the way.

Think of it more as a gentle direction, I’ll give you prompts and make adjustments to ensure a flattering result whilst remaining comfortable and simple.

We will play it by ear, we have to with our unpredictable weather! Some rain can be fine to shoot in, perhaps we can even embrace it getting our wellies muddy. Other times, bad weather can make your shoot unenjoyable so in these cases, I am happy to reschedule.

My family shoots are limited to Liverpool and surrounding areas. I’m happy to travel out of this zone however this would incur an additional travel expense sadly.
