Those moments when I meet a couple who are just so down to earth from the first meeting are one of the reasons I adore what I do. When I first met Carla and Trevor I knew straight away that their wedding would be just a joy to be a part of.
During our final meeting they told me all about how their day was not just about them, but about capturing moments with all of their family and friends. And it was clear to me from the moment I arrived on the morning of their wedding that this was a group of people who just live life to the fullest and who embrace their emotions.
The Saddleworth Hotel took my breath away, this unique location nestled in the greater manchester countryside sweeps you away and makes you feel as though you could be anywhere in the world.
Carla & Trevor married in the outdoor pagoda overlooking the wonderful British green landscape before their family and friends. The ceremony was heartwarming and full of laughter.
Carla looked just mesmerising as guests swooned over her wonderful dress, everyone embraced and indulged in hugs to the sound of piano music amongst a warm August breeze.
Family photos were important to Carla and Trevor so we had fun gathering everyone around and making sure to capture this wonderful gathering in style.
Speeches were given in the grand dining room of the hotel, everyone was laughing, crying and enjoying being in this moment before winding down over a few more drinks and waiting for the party to start.
When the music began there was a definite buzz of energy in the room, and before I knew it the dance floor was swarmed with everyone just letting it all out and partying like there is no tomorrow.
