If a Wedding was to ever completely sweep me off my feet it would be Lou & Mike’s celebration at The Wellbeing Farm. Being huge Disney fans it was no surprise that this combined with the beauty of this quaint venue made for a day that was evocative of the magical kindgom itself! The day was bursting with rich colours, swimming through the barn style venue and overflowing outside where guests enjoyed lawn games, bubbles, deckchairs for giants, ice cream, donkeys, tractors, llamas…..I could talk about this fantastic day for hours on end!!
For once I did not know where to look; there was the laughter of children as they ran around against a stunning country backdrop, guests taking selfies with the farm animals and of course special guest Bailey who is Lou & Mike’s pet doggo <3 – I had met Bailey before during Lou & Mikes engagement shoot earlier this year so I knew he would be a superstar on the day as he dashed down the aisle to deliver the wedding rings so so professionally.
The evening drew in quicker than I have ever known before, and guests took their seats at the benches that were decorated with the rich autumnal colours and brought to life with their Disney themed locations. Guests picked up their favours which were personalised lego figurines and they enjoyed speeches.
Before digging in to their evening food however I was reminded once again of time was running away as I caught glimpse of the most mesmerising sunset taking place outside – in true dream couple style Lou & Mike quickly stood up and we all ran outside to make the most of this fantastic setting for some portraits!!
Lou & Mike put so much effort to make their day fantastic not just for themselves but for their guests to feel so welcome and myself included – it was a magnificent celebration of two truly gorgeous people inside and out.
