Sometimes you just click with people, and for a photographer when you click with your clients then taking pictures of them is an absolute breeze and work doesn’t feel like much work at all!
Louise and Tom have been such a pleasure to get to know since they booked me what seems like forever ago, and after our fun pre-wedding shoot I knew their wedding would be just as lovely to be a part of.
Owen House Wedding Barn is one of my all time favourite venues. Wonderful natural light paired with a rustic barn atmosphere and beautiful contemporary furnishings, not to mention all of the quirky places for photo opportunities! A perfect venue for such an amazing couple.
The morning was relaxed and easy going, not even the odd wasp inviting itself inside to try and steal prosecco was stressing these ladies out. As guests arrived you could feel the anticipation of celebration in the air. Louise looked absolutely stunning in her uniquely perfect wedding dress as she walked arm in arm with her proud father and guests cheered!
The blue skies came alive as planes flew low ahead, (another unique element to this venue being so close to the airport!) and the cocktails glistened as everyone clinked their glasses and embraced.
After canapes and photographs everyone sat down to enjoy speeches from the top table, including bride herself! This bunch really have an amazing sense of humour, I loved listening to these speeches and capturing all the smiles that came along with them.
As the evening drew in and evening guests started to arrived I whisked the happy couple away to make the most of the magical September sunset and also explore the other photo opportunities this venue had to offer. Returning them in plenty of time to cut their caterpillar cakes (my favourite!) and take their first dance together under the gigantic disco ball and starting the party.
