As the Easter holidays approached the Spring sun was showing off and gracing our days with colour and excitement. Milly was getting ready with her sisters, parents and friends when I arrived at the house on the morning of their wedding day, there was a wonderful hustle and bustle in the family home.
Liverpool Town Hall filled up gradually as guests started arriving and groom to be Simon greeted everyone as they began to take their seats. The space was grand and filled with light and the ceremony proceeded with a few tears spilling out amongst guests.
The personal vows they gave were both charming and sentimental, encouraging further happy tears to fall.
When Milly & Simon booked with me they insisted that they wanted zero cheese in their photographs, just good old fashioned fun and laid back energy, music to my ears! We laughed so hard as they embraced their silly sides and completely leaned in to making it all their own, the camera simply loved them. We strolled through Liverpool City Centre, to Oh Me Oh My where guests eagerly awaited their arrival in the beautifully decorated space.
After photos on the iconic rooftop and a delicious meal, speeches followed having everyone roaring with laughter and feeling celebratory. The sun set over Liverpool and guests enjoyed drinks before the best view of the Liver Building the city has to offer before returning to the dance floor to get the party started. As a surprise to everyone Milly & Simon took to the floor (after a speed outfit change for the bride!) for their first dance only to have everyone cheering as they performed the most fun choreographed piece with all the twirls and swishes you can imagine.
From then on the dance floor was lit up and everyone partied in true style! Wonderfully fun and amazing wedding for a couple who were quite evidently the absolute best of friends.
