I get it! You have never done this before and investing in a photographer is a big deal, so it's only natural your head will be buzzing with questions. Here I have collected some of the frequently asked questions by past couples in one place so that I can hopefully answer some of them for you right now.

Do you take formal photographs with family?
Can we meet you before we book?
You don't want to be standing around getting sore cheeks, thirsty for a glass of bubbly on your wedding day anymore than I don't want to lose time photographing all the other fun stuff going on! So when it comes to formal photographs, if you want any I will plan them down to a tee with you so that we can whizz through them quickly with no fuss or chaos!
I encourage it! Before anybody books in with me I always advise a direct chat beforehand. This way we can get to know each other a little first to make sure I am the right photographer for you. These meetings are of course free and there is no obligation to book. So let's go for a coffee if you are local to me, or a cheeky zoom is just as good. Contact me to arrange a date.

Are you insured?
We don't take a great photo
Yes, I am insured with a professional multimedia insurance company that covers me for public liability and professional indemnity. They have my back!
Nonsense! Do you know how many of my couples say this to me? A great photo is quite simply one where you are being your selves. I am not posey, cheesy and I just want you to have fun! I will give you gentle direction to and promise you will enjoy it more than you think you will :-) - for the super nervous why not consider a pre-wedding shoot with me? That way on the day it will feel like deja vu!

Will you travel?
Do you only shoot weddings?
One of my favourite things about this job is the amount I do get to travel with it. I am definitely not exclusively a Liverpool photographer and love driving all over the place working at new venues and experiencing somewhere new. Get in touch to ask about your date and venue and Im confident we can work something out!
Photography is amazing and I adore getting my camera out. Whilst weddings is certainly my speciality I do really enjoy lifestyle shoots too. This could be family, children, portraits, ets or whatever comes to mind really. I love to photograph people in general so no, I don't only shoot weddings!

What equipment do you use?
Fabulous! First things first, drop me a message and as long as I am available we can arrange a meeting and get to know each other. Once we have done that the booking process is super simple with a short questionnaire, written agreement and just a 20% booking-fee (deposit) to secure everything in place. Then it's just a simply matter of waiting for the big day to arrive!
I am a Canon girl through and through and have 2 professional bodies, primarily shooting mirrorless and swapping through a handful of different beautiful lenses throughout the day. I shoot on dual cards so everything is backed up and bring additional lighting equipment with me to weddings so I am prepared for all situations.
