A little before Sophie & James got married I met up with them on Hope Street which is not only my local but where they would be hosting their wedding celebrations. We sat in the sun, discussed all of their plans and honestly just had a really pleasant time chatting, I knew that their wedding would be laid back, beautiful and a bloody joy to photograph.
The evening drew in on the Friday of the wedding and I joined James and their guests at The Buyers Club where they were all enjoying catchups, laughs, aperol spritz’ and limoncellos (my kind of people!)
Sophie arrived with her bridesmaids to the stunning Hope Street Hotel wearing the most beautiful tea style dress that was the most subtle lovely shade of blush rose. The ceremony room did not have a dry eye as they spoke their vows and sealed their love with lighting of a candle.
The warm August evening meant that we could all venture outside for photos, after some groups shots I wandered around the amazing familiar Georgian quarter with Sophie and James and probably got a little too into it as they were such a pleasure to photograph!
We finished up on the balcony in the hotel overlooking the city and then the newlyweds rejoined their guests to enjoy top notch food, good wine and the most brilliant company. Thank you so much for having me Sophie & James! My time with you whizzed by and I enjoyed every moment.
