Hayley & Pete like many other couples waited a hell of a long time to celebrate their love. They never wanted to compromise on the day they always wanted and they held their heads high through all the postponements and worries that last year brought us. And finally, on the 26th of August 2021 the day was finally here and Pete and Hayley were set to marry at last at the wonderful Sandhole Oak Barn.
Having known Hayley for a very long time (we actually met on our photography course!) this wedding was extra special to me. It was such a pleasure to be a part of her morning and even help get her ready. Hayley and her bridesmaids were so clearly such a close group of friends, they all made sure that she had the most calming and fun morning (whilst making sure she didn’t sneak a look at Pete when he arrived!)
The ceremony was heartfelt, and Pete even shed a tear as Hayley walked arm in arm with both her Dad and Stepdad. The afternoon proceeded into lots of canapes, prosecco flowing, lots of hugs and photographs by lake whilst the sun shone down on them. After everyone was well fed Hayleys Dad, Petes best man and Pete himself all gave speeches that had guests belly laughing and cheering.
The evening drew in and I took the happy couple out for some sunset photographs, because it was simply too beautiful not to and they were both so fun to photograph. I returned them in plenty of time to greet their evening guests and enjoy the rest of their wedding as the party started and the dance floor quickly filled.
Thank you so much for having me and making me feel so welcome!
