When November swings around I am reminded all over again how much I ADORE this time of year. The rustic colours, the early golden hours, the crispy leaves and delicate chill reminiscent of autumns past.
It’s a wonderful time of year for a wedding, with the summer behind us winter festivities around the corner and everyone feeling ready to start winding down and indulging.
Abi & Tim chose to have a very homely wedding, with little chaos and simple pleasures. Abi got ready at her childhood home with all of her family around her, I got a real sense of warmth and family values spending time with them as well as traditions as I took part in their must have door step photo before leaving for the church.
The ceremony was fun and lighthearted, with singing and feel good tunes keeping everyone warm and joyful. A laid back gathering followed in the church hall whilst we took photos outside before everyone headed off by foot to Village Point Heaton Moor.
Village Point was decorated beautifully with twinkling lights and lanterns, a fudge cart to tickle tastebuds and good wine flowing.
The night continued with hearty speeches and a full dance floor to swing the night away! I loved being a part of this wonderful day with the most lovely welcoming bunch 🙂
