In the spring of 2020 a global pandemic ruined pretty much everything we had planned…right? Not quite! When Basra got in touch with me it was quite honestly the happiest I have felt to receive a wedding enquiry. She told me about how her original wedding plans had been spoiled but how her and Ali were still keen to go ahead with their marriage celebrations, even if it meant it being a lot smaller than planned. So a back garden marquee it was, with a big delicious cake, only nearest and dearest family and of course the biggest and best energy around! Basra wore a traditional African wedding dress woven with sparkle and class, paired with glistening jewellery across henna decorated hands and feet. I could not take my eyes off her! Ali changed it up from a traditional African wedding robe to a smart suit throughout the day and both of them together made the most stunning couple to photograph at this beautiful Muslim wedding. I was only with them for a couple of hours but in that time we managed to escape away to Allerton Towers for their photographs together as we had more space to work with! Thank you so much for having me for this short amount of time! It was an absolute pleasure!
