Ian & Jess Liverpool Wedding

The city of Liverpool woke up on April 8th to the most warming sunshine; the ideal day for The Grand National and also for the family and friends of Ian & Jess, who would that day witness them marry; they  smiled thanking for a beautiful day. Jess and Ian’s journey planning for their Wedding did not exactly run smoothly and just days before they were dealing with their daughter Niamh being poorly.

Fortunately, the day arrived and coupled with the most gorgeous day of the year so far everything came together so perfectly; for me personally was such a breeze to photograph. Never have I known a Wedding to flow so quickly, before I knew it the DJ was introducing the happy couple to the dance floor to take their first dance.

The setting for the day was Liverpool City Centre, the Mercure Atlantic Tower hotel allowed the natural day light to drown the room and their partner balcony overlooking the Liverpool waterfront was breathtaking.

Jess & Ian celebrated with their family and friends, absolutely in love with each other as well as their daughter who so clearly is the apple of their eyes. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this wonderful coming together of 2 beautiful people inside and out.

Here is the blog for your Wedding guys! What a pleasure, Enjoy!

Ben & Nichola Lancashire Wedding

One factor I am beginning to fall in love with about this job is revisiting clients I have already had the pleasure of working with; when it comes to Weddings I often find myself working with guests or family members from previous clients days! When I first started out photographing Weddings I met a lovely couple named Dawn & David who I was so pleased to be working with, they made one of my first experiences in this field an exceptionally pleasant one and I met so many lovely guests on that day, one of which was Dawns brother Ben and his fiance’ Nichola; a couple of years down the line here I am again revisiting this family and photographing familiar faces at their own Wedding Day!

Mr & Mrs Hart, what can I say your Wedding was just a whirlwind – never before have I known guests to be dancing on the tables before dessert! A day full of laughter, celebration and just ultimate happiness! I was exhausted after your Wedding and for good reason, there was not a dull moment and I couldn’t put my camera down; had I have not been so tired I would definitely have joined in with your celebrations and accepted the (many) offers for drinks I had on the day! Another lovely day spent with this amazing family. Here is your blog!

Sophie & John’s Wedding in Bury

A crisp February morning I travelled to the Bolholt Hotel, hidden away in Bury this hotel had beautiful surroundings; and inside a blushing bride Sophie and her Groom to be John, began getting ready for their marriage celebration. I grew up with Sophie so this day was special to be a part of for me, and quite emotional witnessing this women get married, this women who still has the exact same gorgeous smile and contagious laughter as she did at school!

Sophie looked so elegant in her long sleeved Wedding dress, and with her blush bridesmaids by her side and family drowning the happy couple in love and celebration this day was just beautiful in every way possible. The heart of the day shone through in moments such as when Sophies Mum pulled out the most sentimental surprise from her handbag; a box of confetti that she had saved from her own Wedding day to throw when she watched her daughter getting married.

As part of this blog post showcasing these Wedding photographs I wanted to give a special mention to Sophie and her family as I was so saddened to hear that not so long after the Wedding Sophies Nan sadly passed away. I am happy however that I were able to capture some of these last memories in photographs for her loved ones to remember her by. My thoughts go out to Sophie and her family at this difficult time.
